Preparing to Use This Account

Currently I am following a number of Reading Challenges, mainly posting from my LiveJournal account Muse Books.

I used this account some for the 2010 Orange Prize for Fiction Reading Group though directly posted via the web.

However, now discovering that Semagic Client can also be used to compose and post to Blogger, I figured that I might as well learn a little more about the bells and whistles on this account.

Things may be basic but I will try.

A Little Guilty

I always feel a little guilty when I pop over to Blogger and realise that I haven't updated.

I guess I am just used to the format and software associated with Livejournal.

At present though I am using this to comment on a few blogs I follow as well as participate in my local libraries 2011 Orange Prize for Fiction.

2010 POC Reading Challenge

I've committed to reading at level 4 - 10-15 books.

First Book for Historical Fiction Reading Challenge.

It has taken me a little while to get around to reading my first book, which is Company of Liars by Karen Maitland. I finished it last week and found it a very worthwhile read.

I have reviewed it on full on my bookish Livejournal. That review can be found here: Muse on 'Company of Liars'.

It is my 64th Book for the year as part of my overall reading challenge, which I hope will be about 125-150 books.

I had completely forgotten that I'd established this blog on Blogger. I do need to investigate how to pretty it up if I am intending to use it though.
